Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The voting in Haryana for ensuing general elections will take place on May 12. There are a total of 10 parliamentary seats in Haryana, among them, Sonipat, Rohtak, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, Gurgaon and Faridabad will also go to polls. Here’s all you need to know about these seats.

Sonipat

The total number of electorates in Sonipat is 1,099,978, according to Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, Ramesh Chander from BJP won the elections against INC’s Jagbir Singh Malik.

Rohtak

The total number of electorates in Rohtak is 1,274,972, according to Election Commission of India (ECI) data. In 2014, Deepender Singh Hooda from INC won the elections against BJP’s Om Parkash Dhankar.

Bhiwani-Mahendragarh

The total number of electorates in Bhiwani-Mahendragarh is 1,212,513, according to Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, Dharambir S/O Bhale Ram from BJP won the elections against INLD’s Bahadur Singh.

Gurgaon

The total number of electorates in Gurgaon is 1,244,437, according to Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, Inderjit Singh Rao from BJP won the elections against INLD’s Zakir Hussain.

Faridabad

The total number of electorates in Faridabad is 1,103,046, according to Election Commission of India (ECI) 2009 data. In 2014, Krishan Pal from BJP won the elections against INC’s Avtar Singh Bhadana.

The polling for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 began on April 11 and will conclude on May 19. The counting of votes will be held on May 23. The results will be announced on the same day.
