New Delhi: At a time when the entire country is coming to terms with the alleged paper leaks and irregularities in the high-profile NEET examinations, a shocking case of blatant copying has come to light from the Jiwaji University of Madhya Pradesh in Bhind. In a video that has surfaced online, students can be seen roaming freely and copying each other’s papers. Several students are collectively copying at a desk.
Currently, Jiwaji University is conducting BA and B. Sc, examinations and on its sidelines, a case of mass cheating has come to light. In the video, students are seen copying collectively in the presence of the teacher. When SDM Vijay Singh reached the exam centre, everything was found normal.
Later, the incident came to light when the CCTV footage was checked. It is suspected that some of the teachers were helping the students.
The incident took place at the examination centre set up at the Government Higher Secondary School located in the Damoh area of Bhind.
SDM has registered cheating cases against three students and written a letter to Bhind Collector Sandeep Srivastava informing him about the alleged involvement of the Center President and Principal in the matter of mass copying.
