Maharashtra Lok Sabha Election 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday asserted that India does not send dossiers on terrorism anymore, but eliminates terrorists in their own homes. “Today, India doesn’t send dossiers. Aaj Bharat ghar mein ghus ke marta hai (Today India kills terrorists on their own turf),” Modi said at a poll rally in Maharashtra’s Latur.
Asserting that there has been a massive change in how his government tackles terrorism compared to previous Congress dispensations, the Prime Minister said the earlier approach of handing dossiers to Pakistan has been replaced, and now India kills terror conspirators on their own turf.
“During the Congress regime, the news headlines were of India handing over another dossier to Pakistan about terror activities. Some of our friends in media used to clap after any such dossier was sent,” Modi said.

‘PM in installments’
PM Modi also claimed that the INDIA bloc has come up with a “formula” whereby the parties in the opposition alliance will get the PM’s post for one year each if they come to power.”
With such a system, the good of the country cannot be expected, he claimed.
“Some people want to make the PM in instalments. They have decided to have a PM each year,” he said.
Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Modi said, “When I speak of ‘EK Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, the Prince of Congress suffers from fever”.
Newspapers were full of headlines of bombings before 2014
He further claimed that before 2014, when he assumed office, newspapers were filled with headlines of bomb blasts across the country and warnings about unattended objects were issued 24 hours a day.
“In the whole country, 24 hours a day, such warnings were issued in important places. Where did these unattended objects disappear after Modi became Prime Minister?. Newspapers had headlines informing about bomb blasts every other day, but today India can protect its borders well,” Modi claimed.
The Prime Minister also claimed that the Congress has prepared a “dangerous plan”, referring to the party’s manifesto, to “loot people”.
“Congress has prepared a dangerous plan to loot you (people); it says that it will first conduct an X-ray of people’s income and then capture your property and give it to its vote bank,”
