Mumbai Water Cut For 24 Hours on this date, BMC Makes Announcement

As mentioned earlier, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has made an announcement about a day-long water cut in selected parts of the city, from10:00 AM on May 29, i.e. today to 10:00 AM on May 30, 2024. The Mumbai Water Supply Shutdown has been announced because BMC is planning to connect 450 mm and 750 mm diameter pipelines at Vashi Naka and Patil Marg. This infrastructure project aims at improving the water distribution system.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Issues Advisory

Along with the announcement of the water supply shutdown, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has also advised the residents of the affected areas, to store plenty of water which would cater to their needs for the 24-hours of water cut. The residents have also been advised to use water in a judicious manner so that the temporary shortage does not create a problem and is managed without any issues.
