Pune HORROR: Woman, 25, Dies During Abortion; Paramour Throws Her Body And Her Kids, Aged 2 And 5, In River

A man and his friend were arrested for allegedly throwing the body of a woman in Indrayani river in Pune and flinging her two children into the waterbody as well when they started crying.

Pune Murder: In a shocking incident, the body of a 25-year-old woman was thrown into the Indrayani river in Pune by her alleged paramour and his friend, and in a horrifying turn of events, the accused duo then flung her two children, aged two and five years, into the waterbody as well when they started crying after witnessing their mother’s fate.

According to the police, on July 9, the woman’s lover and main accused, Gajendra Dagadkhaire, had sent the 25-year-old victim to Thane near Mumbai for an abortion after he found out she was pregnant with his child. However, the woman died during the procedure and Dagadkhaire along with his associate, Ravikant Gaikwad, took the body and dumped it into the Indrayani river.

Upon witnessing this horrifying scene, the woman two children, aged two and five years, started crying and two accused men flung them into the river as well, said an official at the Pimpri Chinchwad police station.

“On the way back on July 9, Dagadkhaire and his associate Ravikant Gaikwad threw the woman’s body into the Indrayani river near Talegaon. When her children, aged two and five, started crying, the duo pushed them into the river as well. The woman was estranged from her husband and was in a relationship with Dagadkhaire, which resulted in her getting pregnant,” the official said.

The incident came to light when police launched an investigation after the slain woman’s mother approached the cops with a missing person complaint, he said, adding that Dagadkhaire and Gaikwad have been arrested based on technical evidence.

“The bodies of the woman and the two children have not been found as yet. Dagadkhaire and Gaikwad were remanded in police custody till July 30. Further probe into the case is underway,” the official informed.
