Pune Traffic Advisory: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PMCM) said the metro work is expected to lag behind for a few days due to these processions.

Pune: The Pimpri-Chinchwad traffic police on Monday imposed traffic restrictions and issued an advisory for the Pandharpur-bound Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj palkhis. Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police in the advisory said that traffic diversions were imposed in the Shivajinagar area. These diversions have been implemented to ensure smooth passage for the processions. The Palkhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj will start its journey from Alandi and proceed to Pune on Monday morning, with a scheduled stop at Gandhi Wada in Alandi on Sunday night.

Pune Traffic Advisory: Know About Palkhi Processions 

Both these processions will arrive in Pune on Monday and then the two Palkhis will take a day off on Tuesday in Pune, Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi at Nivdunga Vitthal Mandir and Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palki at Vithoba Mandir. Then on Wednesday, both processions will carry forward their respective journeys from Pune towards Pandharpur.
