New Delhi: In yet another case involving the progeny of an influential and powerful political personality, a speeding SUV collided with a tempo truck carrying chickens head-on on Pune’s Manjari Mundhwa Road on Tuesday night.
The mishap has been caught on a CCTV camera.

The CCTV footage captured a black car speeding along a narrow single-lane road and colliding with a tempo before skidding to the roadside.
The luxury vehicle was allegedly being driven by one Saurabh Gaikwad, son of Bandu Gaikwad, a former Corporator and NCP (Sharad Pawar) leader.
Saurabh Gaikwad was allegedly drunk at the time of the accident and a case has been registered against him.
The driver and the cleaner of the truck were badly injured in the accident and were rushed to the hospital by the locals.

According to police sources, the car was driven by Mihir Shah, son of a senior leader of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and allegedly caused the fatal accident while driving in a drunk condition.
