Pro Khalistan Slogans: In a rerun of the past instances related to Khalistan, pro-Khalistani slogans were found written on pillars of Delhi metro stations on Sunday. The slogans were seen at Karol Bagh and Jhandewalan Metro Stations.

The Delhi Police immediately flung into action and launched an investigation.

According to the reports, the slogans were written by supporters of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), a banned Sikh separatist group based in the United States.

The Delhi Police have registered an FIR and secured CCTV footage from two metro stations, courtesy of the Delhi Metro authorities.

A security guard at a building near the Karol Bagh Metro station reported noticing black paint inscriptions on the station’s pillars upon arriving for his Sunday morning shift.

“I came to duty at 8 am and saw that something was written in black colour on the pillars of the metro station. A huge crowd had gathered there and was reading the slogans,” Bajrangi, the security guard, said speaking to ANI.

“These slogans may have been written at night because no one was there at that time and no one saw who wrote these slogans,” he added.

In January, the Delhi Police detained a man accused of creating pro-Khalistani graffiti on the walls in the Tilak Nagar area of Delhi.

In August last year, the Delhi Police Special Cell detained two persons from Punjab in connection with pro-Khalistan graffiti and slogans painted at more than five metro stations in Delhi.
