Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or just want to have a relaxed vacation – Lakshadweep is your answer. It’s a fascinating tropical archipelago, off the coast of Kerala with only a few islands open to the traveller. If you want to make the most of your time, do what is best done here; indulge in water sports. They have a wide range you can choose from. Here’s what we recommend:
Scuba diving is an ideal way of exploring the stunning corals and the diverse marine life on the islands of Lakshadweep. For the best experience, go for scuba diving at either Agatti Island or the Bangaram Island.
Kayaking and yacht sailing
For kayaking and yacht sailing, Kavaratti Island offers the best experience. If you specifically want to have an adventurous time on a boat, let that be at the Kavaratti.
Snorkelling is a fun water sport where you swim on the surface of water wearing a diving mask and swim fins, and carry a breathing tube called snorkel. And this tropical location is just right for it if you don’t want to put in a lot of effort. For the best experience, go snorkelling at Bangaram Island because it’s surrounded by shallow waters ideal for the sport.
If you’re a seasoned kite surfer, Kadmat Island with its pristine silvery white beaches, rich marine life and a huge lagoon is where you should go for the sport.
