Diu is by far one of the most underrated union territories of India. The Ilha De Calma as named by the Portuguese is indeed a calm and serene place to enjoy yourself in the arms of nature. With pristine beaches, caves, forts, churches and chapels and national parks, there is a lot in the city that will keep you busy and occupied.

However, on this trip to Diu, the highlight is the continent’s longest beach festival, Festa De Diu. The Diu Tourism Department organizes this crazy, 75 days long event to invite people from literally everywhere to come and soak in the beauty of Diu.
