People are like oysters with pearls hidden within them, and travel often helps us to uncover them. If you’re focused on living your best life, then travelling the world and discovering your inner purpose sounds like the best plan. There are many ways to build a life; through coaching, workshops, blogging, photography, writing and as entrepreneurs. Here’s how you can take the leap of faith:
Dare to dream and believe
Often the biggest hindrance is the lack of faith in being able to carve out an unconventional life. However, you can move past them, and dare to believe in working out a life of a ‘travelpreneur’ because nothing is impossible. Your energy adapts and grows where you put it, so be ready to be surprised with what happens.
Be clear in what you want
If you want money in life, a proper business or a high-paying job will fulfil that aspect of your life. But if you want flexible work hours, a work-life balance, less money but more freedom, then as long as you’re positive about life, the plan will successfully work out in your favour.
This is an important part of sustaining in a society; if people don’t know what you can offer, or how you can add value to work, your skills won’t be put to work. Put yourself out there, talk to people in cafes, at yoga studios, at meetings and broaden your connections one day at a time.
Have a routine and supporters around you
While the thrills of working on the road are unparalleled, it is important to have a disciplined routine as well. You have a certain amount of energy to spend every day; you’ve got to prioritise where and how you want to spend it so that you can sustain in a successful manner. Also, build a bench of people who will support you in your dreams; they could be fellow travelpreneurs, mentors or a life coach.
