Lakshadweep is a collection of one hundred thousand small islands, in the native language of Malyalam. However, there are thirty six islands in this cluster, ten of these islands are uninhabited and are a result of the formation of coral reefs. These islands are surrounded by the Laccadive sea and were initially called by the same name.

These islands are situated in the South West of the country and are governed by the Kerala Ministry. And the natives speak several languages.

What makes these islands a must visit, is the natural and scenic beauty it offers, several beaches and amazing water sports that are supported with beautiful fauna. One can enjoy snorkeling, windsurfing, scuba diving, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, sportfishing,  water skiing etc.

The best part about this destination is how clean and tidy it is. A nature enthusiast, beach lover and an admirer of natural phenomena will definitely enjoy a stay at any of these islands.

So don’t wait for too long and just take a trip as soon as you can to reminisce.
