Beypore Beach

For the simple pleasures of life such as walking barefoot on sand, Beypore beach is the perfect choice. The striking golden sands of this beach are also great for sunbathing. Adventure enthusiasts can indulge in a couple of water-sports here such as swimming,  skiing, parasailing and kayaking. Don’t forget to sample the delicious ‘Kozhikodan Halwa’ which is sold on this beach.

Kappad Beach

Arguably the best beach of Kozhikode, taking a backwater ride in the Korappuzha river to reach Kappad beach is an experience in itself. The beauty of this place is unmatched; thanks to the azure sky seamlessly merging with the Arabian Sea, and the cleanliness and candour of this beach. The beach is where Vasco da Gama first entered India with his sailors. An ancient stone temple located nearby is a great attraction for history lovers.
