2 Cops Among 4 Govt Employees Sacked By J-K Admin For Alleged ‘Terror Link’ In Kashmir Valley
The Jammu and Kashmir administration has terminated the services of four government employees, including two police constables, for having alleged "terror links".
Jammu Kashmir News: Four government employees, including a teacher and two police constables, were sacked Saturday by the Jammu and Kashmir administration for alleged “terror links”. According to officials, the services of four four government employees, including two constables of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, were terminated for their alleged links to terror elements in the erstwhile state.
As per an official order issued by the Union Territory’s administration under Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, two police constables, Abdul Rehman Dar and Ghulam Rasool Bhat– Shabir Ahmad, a government teacher, and Anayatullah Shah Pirzada– an an assistant lineman in the Jal Shakti department, were terminated from services under Article 311 of the Constitution for allegedly having “terror links”.
In similar but separate orders, the government said the four employees were dismissed from service by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha in the interest of former state’s security.
As per the orders, Sinha was satisfied that there was sufficient information available to warrant the dismissal of these employees and there was no need for inquiries.
