“The diesel tanker fell into a 160-feet deep gorge in Markundi valley after the driver lost control. The vehicle caught fire and two people, including the driver, who were in the tanker, were burnt to death,” he said. Also Read - 4 killed, 1 injured in explosion at firecracker factory in UP
He added the deceased were identified as Chhedi (45), the driver, and Shivakant Chaturvedi (40).
The bodies were sent for post-mortem, police said.
