The deceased was identified as Bijaya Kumar Dakua (62) and he was a resident of Jagadalpur village, a police officer said, adding, the salesman’s body was recovered on Thursday morning. Also Read - 63-Year-Old Odisha Woman With 19 Toes & 12 Fingers Sets New Guinness World Record

The five accused are also residents of the same village, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Berhampur Sadar, A K Mohanty, said.

They looted Rs 20,000 from the liquor shop and killed the salesman before leaving it, Mohanty said.

The accused have confessed to their crime, the Inspector-in-Charge (IC) of Berhampur Sadara police station, Siba Shankar Mohapatra, said.
