He said he has petitioned Governor Vajubhai Vala to permit him to initiate criminal proceedings under Prevention of Corruption Act and various IPC sections against Siddaramaiah for “illegally appointing Hoskote MLA N Nagaraj to the post of Chairman of Bengaluru International Airport Area Planning Authority.” Also Read - Wait Over! In the petition submitted to the governor on September nine, Shashidhar, President of ‘Karnataka Police Maha Sangha’, which is yet to be recognised, contended that Nagaraj was not a resident of a location which does not fall under BIAAPA jurisdiction. He told PTI that the Congress legislator was a resident of Garudacharpalya instead, and “hence it is a violation of government rules.”
