Cold weather conditions prevailed in Amritsar, where the minimum temperature settled at 5.7 degrees Celsius, a MeT Department official said here.
Halwara registered a low of 5.8 degrees Celsius.
Faridkot and Gurdaspur recorded respective minimums of 6 degrees Celsius and 8.5 degrees Celsius.
Pathankot recorded a low of 6.5 degrees Celsius while Patiala registered a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 7.6 degrees Celsius.
Hisar also experienced a cold night at 5 degrees Celsius while Karnal recorded a low of 5.2 degrees C. Rohtak registered a low of 6.2 degrees Celsius while Bhiwani’s minimum settled at 6.6 degrees Celsius.
Ambala recorded a low of 6 degrees Celsius.
It was a foggy morning today at many places in Punjab and Haryana. However, the sky was clear in Chandigarh.
