Lucknow, Nov 29 (PTI) Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav will be addressing rallies in poll- bound Gujarat for four days, beginning December 4, to garner support for the party candidates. “Akhilesh Yadav will be addressing election rallies in support of the SP candidates contesting from five Assembly constituencies in Gujarat. His first rally will be held in Jamnagar on December 4. Yadav will be in Gujarat from December 4 to December 7,” SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said in a statement issued here today. Pointing out that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was one of the star campaigners of the BJP in Gujarat, Chaudhary said, “Adityanath is in Gujarat to mislead the public.”
The 182-member Gujarat Assembly will go to the polls in two phases — on December 9 and 14. The counting of votes will be taken up on December 18.
