Andhra Pradesh ACB seizes cash in lakhs, ornaments from senior bureaucrat

The Andhra Pradesh Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday conducted raids and seized cash in lakhs and ornaments from the premises of a senior bureaucrat.

Hyderabad, (Andhra Pradesh), [India], May 8, (ANI): The Andhra Pradesh Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday conducted raids and seized cash in lakhs and ornaments from the premises of a senior bureaucrat.

K.V.R Sai Kumar was formerly Joint Secretary of the Department of Revenue and presently associated with General Administration Department (GAD), Andhra Pradesh.

Rs.20 lakhs net cash, paid chit fund receipts worth Rs. 20 lakhs, fixed deposits worth Rs. 15 lakhs, 1 kg gold ornaments, 10 kgs silver , an unopened locker possessing gold and diamond jewellery and two flats at Bangalore have been surfaced so far.

In addition to this, Kumar also owns one shopping complex, seven plots and two more flats.

The ACB commenced the search early this morning at the main house of the accused officer and at other eight houses accommodating his friends and relatives. (ANI)
