The company has accepted resignation of Sanjay Murdeshwar as MD and as a director. He is shifting to a global role within the AstraZeneca group, based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, US, AstraZeneca Pharma India said in a filing to BSE. Singh had joined AstraZeneca Pharma India in February 2006.
Prior to joining AstraZeneca, he had worked with Baxter India and Eli Lilly.
Shares of AstraZeneca Pharma India today closed at Rs 912 per scrip on BSE, up 0.62 per cent from the previous close.
