Patna, Mar 10 (PTI) Bihar is likely to have rain or dust
storm for two days from tomorrow, met office said.
There is likely to be cloudy sky with possibility of
rain or thunder or dust storm across the state, especially in
four major cities of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea
tomorrow, Patna Meteorological Centre official said today.
“We have forecast that such weather conditions are
likely to remain in the state till Sunday (Mar 12),” Met
official told PTI.
Asked whether the cloudy weather or rain may play
spoilsport on Holi on Monday, he said “right now, I am not
sure about it, but the effects of western disturbances coupled
with cyclonic circulation created over Chhattisgarh may spill
over further for a day or two and disturb the festival of
colour.”
Districts like East and West Champaran, Gopalganj
witnessed rains and thunder today, official said adding that
there were chances that it would further approach districts
like Siwan, Sitamarhi, Madhepura.
Attributing ‘western disturbances’ as the reason for
change in the weather, Met official said that western
disturbance has reached Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and is
expected to pass through north Bihar in a couple of days. PTI
