Guwahati, Jun 26 (PTI) Assam BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass today said NDA is targetting to win all the 14 Lok Sabha seats from the state in the next general election due in 2019 and all the partners of the alliance are together.

“We want NDA to win and form the next government at the Centre. We hope to win all the 14 seats from Assam. By saying we, I mean our alliance (NDA),” Dass told a press conference here.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, BJP had won seven seats, while its allies AGP and BPF had drawn a blank.

“We have begun our organisational work. Seat sharing will be decided by the BJP central leadership,” he said and refuted reports of AGP leaving the alliance.

All the three partners – BJP, AGP and BPF are together, Dass said.

On the state rural poll, which is likely to be held later this year, he said that a decision making committee has been formed comprising Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

“The CM and FM will discuss and decide about the alliance with AGP and BPF for the panchayat polls in the state,” Dass said.
