At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castor seed for the most-traded July contract gained Rs 10, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 4,189 per quintal in an open interest of 73,690 lots. Also Read - Nepal Plans to Create a Piece of Art Out of Trash Collected From Mount Everest

Marketmen said the rise in castor seed prices at futures market was attributed to raising of bets by participants, triggered by a firm trend at the spot markets on strong demand from consuming industries against restricted supplies from growing belts.
