Shopian (Jammu & Kashmir) [India], Jan 31 (ANI): Rayees Ahmad, a civilian of Jammu and Kashmir, who was injured in firing by the army in Shopian on January 27, succumbed to his injuries at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on Wednesday. Following the incident, tension in the Kashmir valley escalated.
The incident came days after two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Dairoo’s Chaigund area in Shopian on January 24. (ANI)
