New Delhi, Feb 10 (PTI) It was a cold day in the national capital on Sunday with the minimum temperature plunging to 6 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season’s average, the MeT department said.
The maximum temperature settled at 21.6 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average, an official of the Meteorological (MeT) department said.
The humidity oscillated between 52 and 100 per cent.
The visibility was recorded at 700 metres, both at 5.30 am and 8.30 am.
On Saturday, the minimum and maximum temperatures settled at 8.4 and 21 degrees Celsius.
The MeT has forecast shallow or moderate fog in the morning followed by cloudy skies along with haze on Monday.
“The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 6 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively on Monday,” the official said.
