Machilipatnam (AP), Dec 21 (PTI) An assistant registrar of the Cooperative department in Krishna district was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Friday for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 for an official favour, police said.
A.Saibabu was arrested from his office in Kykaluru on a complaint from Mohmmad Abul Rahim, ACB Deputy Superitendent of Police S V V Prasada Rao said.
Acting on the complaint, the ACB laid a trap and nabbed him while he was receiving the cash, he added.
