At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February rose by Rs 2.45, or 0.58 per cent, at Rs 424.95 per kg in a business turnover of 14,348 lots. Also Read - Jaishankar Raised Vijay Mallya's Extradition, UK Not Giving Details: Centre Tells SC

Analysts said firm trend in base metals at the physical markets, mainly led to rise in copper prices here.
