New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Copper prices rose 0.20 per cent to Rs 435.60 per kg as speculators widened their bets amid a firm trend overseas and a pick up in spot demand at the domestic market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February edged up by 85 paise, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 435.60 per kg in a business turnover of 1,069 lots.

Analysts said apart from a firm trend in global market, improved demand at the domestic spot market supported the upward trend in copper prices at futures trade here.
