The two persons, suspected to be poachers, were carrying the tusk from Daflagarh near Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border to sell it in Tezpur, Kaziranga National Park Northern Range Officer Pranjal Baruah said. Baruah said that the tusk weighed about 8.5 kg and was worth around Rs 3.5 lakh.
