The incident took place at Maharathpur village where several youths had gathered to perform “visarjan” upon the conclusion of “Chaiti Navaratri” festivities, Additional Superintendent of Police Mithilesh Kumar said. Also Read - Bihar Assembly Elections 2020: 52.24% Voter Turnout Recorded Till 5 pm

The bodies of the remaining four were recovered an hour later, the Additional SP said adding that the deceased were on the age group of 20-25 years.
The bodies have been sent to the Sadar hospital for post-mortem examination.
