New Delhi, Feb 12 (PTI) GoDaddy Inc Tuesday announced an extension of its partnership with the Badminton World Federation (BWF) as a sponsor of major badminton events over the next three years.

With this partnership, GoDaddy aims to continue raising awareness amongst sporting viewers, and among badminton enthusiasts, about the benefits of being online and creating an online presence for their business, a statement said.

No financial details of the partnership were disclosed.

“GoDaddy will continue as Official Partner of BWF Major Events, building upon its successful sponsorship of the TOTAL BWF Thomas and Uber Cup and TOTAL BWF World Championships in 2018,” it added.

In India, GoDaddy has been associated with cricket, sponsoring various tournaments. It has also been a sponsor of the Tata Mumbai Marathon and the Procam Airtel Delhi Marathon over the past year.

* Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services appoints Anish Sarkar as India CEO Sodexo BRS India Tuesday said it has appointed Anish Sarkar as its Chief Executive Officer.

He takes over from Stephane Michelin, who after two years overseeing the digital transformation, is moving to Sodexo’s headquarters in Paris to work on Global Strategic Projects, a statement said.

Sarkar has joined Sodexo from Mercer India where he was serving as the CEO, it added.

He has also spent 16 years with the Capgemini group in several different roles.

“India is an important market for Sodexo’s Benefits and Rewards Services segment. The employee benefits industry in the country is growing and digitalization has been a big accelerator for this growth,” Sebastien Godet, APAC President at Sodexo Benefits and Rewards, said.

* Subex wins 5-year deal from Umniah to deploy ROC Revenue Assurance Telecom analytics solution provider Subex Tuesday said it has closed a five-year deal with Jordan-based Umniah to deploy ROC Revenue Assurance.

Umniah offers mobile, internet, and business solutions in Jordan.

“Subex was selected based on the Hadoop capabilities of ROC Revenue Assurance and the ability of the solution to meet the compliance needs of the scope,” a statement said.

Through the integration of Hadoop, Subex will able be to reduce the total cost of ownership of the implementation across the five-year span of the contract, it added.

No financial details of the partnership were disclosed.
