Puducherry, Nov 29 (PTI) Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today said the territorial administration is planning to work together with Pondicherry University to “co-opt youth in social engineering.”
Government plans to work together with the University to co-opt youth in social engineering and also as interns in administration and facilitate research data in required subjects, she said after the newly appointed Vice Chancellor Gurmeet Singh, who assumed charge today, met her.
“It is most needed appointment,” she tweeted.
Professor Gurmeet Singh of the Department of Chemistry in Delhi University took charge as the seventh Vice Chancellor of Pondicherry University earlier in the day.
