Linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large- scale buying.

In the edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 15 per 10 kg to Rs 925 from Thursday’s closing level of Rs 910 and refined palmolein moved up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 632 as against Rs 630 previously.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseed bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,250 from Rs 4,225 and castoroil commercial went up by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 880 as compared to Rs 875. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 800 per 10 kg.
