Mumbai, May 31 (PTI) Germany-headquartered solar energy solutions provider IBC Solar today said it has commissioned 22.5 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Rajasthan.

This 22.5 MW project is the company’s sixth solar PV plant in the country, IBC Solar said in a statement issued here.

“With this project IBC has managed to double the size of their projects for the second time in a row. The project also marks the important milestone of installing more than 50 MW solar capacity in India,” IBC Solar (India) Managing Director Shailendra Bebortha said.

Vivo to sponsor FIFA World Cup 2018, 2022 Smartphone brand Vivo today said it has signed an agreement with International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to sponsor for six years, covering two tournament cycles.

“Vivo will become the official sponsor of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. As a part of this association, Vivo will consecutively sponsor the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017, 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, FIFA Confederations Cup 2021, and 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar,” it said in a statement.

As part of the sponsorship deal, Vivo logo will appear during every match on field advertising boards, event tickets, press release backdrops, and other key promotional areas.

Further, Vivo plans to introduce a customised FIFA World Cup phone.
