The 39-year-old rapper-turned-fashion designer debuted his new collection at New York Fashion Week last month and chose to use a newly remixed 17 minute version of a decade old demo by singer-songwriter The-Dream as the backing track, reported CNN. The demo featured The-Dream singing “Bed”, a song he originally wrote for Chris Brown, but which ended up being a breakthrough hit for R&B star J Holiday in 2007. West’s new mix of the track, created with production duo DJDS, was posted on the rapper’s SoundCloud account.

When the remix debuted at the fashion show, DJDS wrote on Twitter, “so much fun working on the soundtrack version of ‘bed’ for the #yeezy 5 show congrats kanye & crew big up (sic) @TheKingDream (The-Dream).”
