Chennai, Nov 22 (PTI) The well-marked low pressure area over Bay of Bengal has weakened but rains were expected to continue for another day in several parts of Tamil Nadu, the regional weather office here said Thursday. In Chennai, the sky condition is likely to be generally cloudy and it would receive intermittent spells of rain.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at a few places over south Tamil Nadu, an official at the weather office said.
In the last 24 hours, rainfall occurred at many places over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
