Assistant sub-inspector of police, Balwinder Singh confirmed to ANI that the explosion was caused because of an overload of pressure in the air pump at the puncture shop. The victim, identified as Amit Yadav was closest to the pump when it exploded, thus sustaining the brunt of the damage. Three other people, including the deceased’s father, were injured in the accident.
Of four injured, two have been declared out of danger, while one is said to be in a critical condition. (ANI)
