Along with the video, she wrote, “spirit of Deepavali at the tender age of 97. She is Mother of @narendramodi (Hiraben Modi 1920) celebrating Diwali at her own home @Sadhguru JV”. Also Read - In a First, 50 Divyang Students to Attend PM's 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' Programme
Bedi had tagged in her tweet the Prime Minister and spiritual master and founder of Isha Foundation, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev.
The former IPS officer, however, realised her mistake the same day. “I am informed it is mistaken identity @Sadhguru JV.
But salute to the mother with so much vigour. I hope I can be like her if/when I am 96,” she tweeted to make the correction.
At a press conference here today, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy was asked to comment on this but he merely smiled and walked away.
