Earlier, addressing a gathering at the venue–Chaurangi Circle, Madhepura MP Rajeev Ranjan said, “We had been requesting for direct train to Patna from Jayanagar for quite some time, and I have been informed that in the next 10 days the service will begin.”
The train will travel to Patna via Darbhanga. Jayanagar is a town located on the Indo-Nepal border, about 70 kms from here.
Jain when asked if the train would begin service in next 10 days, only said, “Very soon, sometime this month.”
