Mumbai, Oct 1 (PTI): National utility National Thermal Power Corporation Monday said that it has paid a final dividend of Rs 1,970.67 crore to the government and the rest of the shareholders.
The amount works out to be 23.90 per cent of the paid-up equity share capital of the corporation, it said in a statement, adding of the total dividend Rs 1,217.29 crore have been paid to the government.
