Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), May 7 (IANS) Spain’s Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda Team on Sunday secured his first victory of the season winning the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix here.
Starting in pole position for the first time since the Malaysian MotoGP in 2015, it was the Spaniard’s first win on home turf since he won at the course in 2013, reports Efe.
His Spanish teammate Marc Marquez came in second, while compatriot Jorge Lorenzo of Ducati Team came in third.
Italy’s Valentino Rossi of Movistar Yamaha MotoGP finished 10th.
