Latehar (Jharkhand), Jul 29 (PTI) An encounter has taken place between the police and ultra outfit Trutiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) in Serek village under Chandwa police station of Latehar district, police today said. Over 200 rounds were exchanged between the Chandwa police force and TPC ultras, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Anuj Oraon. Also Read - Pakistan gifts gold-plated assault rifle to Saudi Crown Prince

The men in uniform also retaliated, Oraon told a press conference.

Several ultras might have injured in the firing but none was found, he said.

Police recovered a .315 bore rifle with a magazine, three cartridges, 31 empty cartridges of AK-47 and three empty cartridges of INSAS rifle from the spot.

Meanwhile, a Khunti report said three ultras of People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested with arms and ammunition from Rogda village under Rania police station of Khunti district last night.
