Chennai, Mar 29 (PTI) Prices of thoor dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar and maida decreased, rest all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrain market here today. Gram dal was less by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.4,800 from Rs.4,900.

Sugar went down by Rs.150 per quintal to Rs.3,350 from its previous level of Rs.3,500.

Maida a fall of Rs.250 from Rs.2,350 from yesterday’s rate of Rs.2,600 respectively.

Urad dal, wheat(90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) prices ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise):Thoor Dal Rs 6,900, Urad Dal Rs 6,700, Moong Dal Rs 7,000, Gram Dal Rs 4,800, Sugar Rs 3,350, Wheat Rs 2,700, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,350 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
