Jaipur, Feb 21 (PTI) Rajasthan Assembly was today adjourned for the day due to demise of Nathdwara MLA Kalyan Singh Chauhan after prolonged illness Chauhan, battling with cancer from the last two-and-a-half years, was admitted to a private hospital in Udaipur and died early today, a party spokesperson said. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP state president Ashok Parnami, former chief minister Ashok Gehlot, and others condoled the death.

Former Pradesh Congress Committee chief C P Joshi, who was defeated by Chauhan by just one vote in 2008-Rajasthan assembly elections, also condoled his demise Last year, BJP MPs Mahant Chandnath, Sanwar lal Jat and MLA Mandalgarh Kirti Kumari had passed away due to illness.
