Mumbai, Sep 25 (IANS) Actor Ranveer Singh, who has been locked to play Kapil Dev in a movie on the 1983 cricket World Cup, will meet the team which won the trophy that year. The former India skipper will be part of the meet on Wednesday too. We are thankful to all the players for taking out time from their schedules and joining us for this event,” Madhu Mantena, co-founder of Phantom Films, said in a statement.

The venue of the meet is yet to be finalised.

Apart from Ranveer, no other cast members have been announced so far, but the announcement of the project has piqued the interest of cricket fans as well as movie buffs.
