New Delhi [India] Oct 21 ANI: Sibi George has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Switzerland.
He will replace Smita Purushottam. George is presently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Aftairs.
He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
George, a 1993 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, has also served as deputy chief of mission of Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia.(ANI)
