Bengal moved south-southwestwards with a speed of 08 kmph Also Read - Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa Tests Positive For COVID-19 For 2nd Time, Admitted To Hospital
during past 06 hours and lay centered at 0830 hours IST of
today, the 12th November, 2018 over Westcentral and adjoining
Eastcentral & Southeast Bay of Bengal near latitude 13.
1N and longitude 87.0E, about 730 km East of Chennai and 820
km east-northeast of Nagappattinam.
It is very likely to move west-southwestwards and
intensify further into a Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 24
hours and maintain the intensity during subsequent 24 hours.
Thereafter, while moving westsouthwestwards, it is
likely to weaken gradually and cross north Tamilnadu coast
between Nagappattinam and Chennai as a Cyclonic Storm during
15th November forenoon.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Tamilnadu.
Dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Lakshadweep, Karnataka,
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
