Taxmann rolls out upgraded GST tariff books, Rate Reckoner

Taxmann Publications announced the release of the 6th edition of Goods and Services Tax (GST) tariff with Rate Reckoner. This publication provides HSN-Wise GST rates of goods and services, and incorporates all changes made by the GST Council in its 23rd meeting, which were notified on November 14.

New Delhi [India], Dec 4 (ANI): Taxmann Publications announced the release of the 6th edition of Goods and Services Tax (GST) tariff with Rate Reckoner. This publication provides HSN-Wise GST rates of goods and services, and incorporates all changes made by the GST Council in its 23rd meeting, which were notified on November 14.

The book is supplemented by commodity-wise rate reckoner to help the readers to quickly get the GST rate on any commodity. This abridged version of the tariff is for those who are not well versed with GST Tariffs.

Taxmann also launched a GST Rate Finder Tool on its website, whereby users can quickly find an authentic and updated GST tariff for any commodity or service. This tool always shows the amended GST tariff.

GST tariff database is also available on Taxmann.com Android and iOS app.

“With frequent changes in the GST rates, comprehending the bare notifications had become very challenging work for the companies, practitioners and individuals. That is why we have launched the sixth edition of the book GST Tariff in II volumes. These books provide the updated HSN and Service Code wise GST rates of goods and services,” said Rakesh Bhargava, Director, Taxmann.

“Supplementing the GST Tariff Books, the GST Tariff and Rate Finder on taxmann.com allows one to perform a detailed research on the Tariffs. Additionally, it also offers options whereby the users can add the updated tariff in their personal library, print and share it,” he added.

GST Tariff is a part of www.taxmann.com where users get an updated database and amended list of Central, State and Inter-State GST Tariff as notified by the department. One of the major features of the GST tariff platform is that you can create your own personal library where you can save any type of document for later reference, thus making researching easier for the practicing professional.(ANI)
