Telangana: Police seizes foreign liquor worth Rs 5.5 lakhs

As part of the Model Code of Conduct, the Hyderabad Police seized 96 foreign liquor worth Rs 5.5 lakhs (approximately) from a vehicle here.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Oct 31 (ANI): As part of the Model Code of Conduct, the Hyderabad Police seized 96 foreign liquor worth Rs 5.5 lakhs (approximately) from a vehicle here.

The police raided vehicles in the Balaramaiah arch in the limits of Begumpet police station. During the checking, the officials seized 96 foreign liquor bottles from a car.

Johnny Walker (12 bottles), Glenlivet (12 bottles), Ciroc (12 bottles), Glenfidi (12 bottles), Jagermeister (12 bottles), Glenfedich Green (12 bottles) and Glenfedich Brown (12 bottles) were seized.

Besides this, the police have also seized Rs 72,000 in cash. (ANI)
